Last night I finished my post by mentioning that I was looking forward to rocking my boy to sleep. I did not get that opportunity. Not too terribly long after posting the long day up to him. He couldn’t even finish dinner.
Tonight the little guy fell asleep in the car on the way home. That’s two nights in a row with no rocking. I kind of miss it. But it is a little easier not having to convince him. That sleep is actually a good thing.
He fights sleep like it is a dragon. One day he will realize sleep can also be a friend. But not today.
