Working at an elementary school means I am at constant risk of catching a cold. Right now it seems we are at the start of cold and flu season. One class had so many absences they just sent the whole class home for the last few days of the week. Other classes are are missing a few students each.
The past few days I have felt my throat getting sorer and my glands getting more swollen. I’m doing my best to to succumb to the pressures of the sickness. So far I don’t have a fever but my voice kind of sounds like it has gone through a blender.
At least my mind doesn’t have the heaviness. Maybe that means I’ll get some editing done later in the day. Perhaps after lunch.
