I spent a large part of the day playing with my little guy. We sang, danced, read some books and watching some videos.
In the afternoon the Mrs. took over and I did a little bit of work (sadly not on my writing). I also prepped something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now: read some 90’s Superman comics.
The older I get the more I find myself keen on Superman. I think it is his moral center. The thing is, I haven’t read that many individual issues. I’ve read some of the bigger stories, but not the monthlies.
So, I’m starting. I’ve read some of the post-crisis relaunches before and I’ve decided to start a little after that. 1991. The year the started putting that little triangle in the cover and made all the series one big story.
I don’t know how far I’ll make it, but I hope I enjoy the ride.
