Bloody Tokyo Transcripts

This January I started my latest podcasting project, Bloody Tokyo. All in all I am pretty happy with its level of growth. Every episode I’ve gotten few more listeners and a few more downloads. It’s hard to ask for more than that.

A few friends have reached out to me to let me know that although they are keen for giving my tale of vampires in Tokyo a shot, that the truth is they just aren’t into podcasts. And you know what? I completely understand. As much as I enjoy podcasts, I know that they aren’t for everybody.

And the truth is I have another goal for Bloody Tokyo as well. I really like having it exist in the world as a podcast, but the plan is to collect every 10 to 15 chapters, give it a nice edit, and put it out as an ebook novella. I’d love to make it as cheap as possible, say 99 cents. I don’t know if that price will be possible. Short version, I want to keep my writing available on as many platforms as possible so that readers can use the service/app they like to read my material. But, at last check, a certain retail giant only allows the cheapest pricing for material that is exclusive to them. But that is a little more behind the scenes than I wanted to get right now.

For anyone out there who wants to read the Bloody Tokyo transcripts as soon as possible, there is also my Patreon. From today, I’ve started posting the rough draft transcripts to Patreon. As of writing this, the first chapter is available, and I plan to post the other available chapters over the weekend. Now, these are the unedited, warts and all chapters, and that will be cleaned up of the eventual ebook release. But the story is intact and will not change. So, for the low cost of $1 a month, you can get regular access to the Bloody Tokyo Transcripts, as well as other patron only posts. There are other levels available as well, so maybe check it out. I’m also love to get feedback on how I can make my Patreon deals more enticing, so feel free to let me know what I’m missing.

Anyway, I’m having a lot of fun working on Bloody Tokyo. I hope you are enjoying the podcast episodes, and now you know of a few ways you’ll be able to get the written version as well.

Cheers everyone. Thanks for the support.
