Becoming a Habit

The rain never really stopped today, but it did turn into a fine enough mist that we could almost ignite the damp.

That was how the day went. Now it is at an end. Both kids are asleep, showers have been had, and I read u til my eyes felt heavy.

Then, like remembering I hadn’t brushed my teeth, I remembered I hadn’t posted.

So here I am, blearily writing about how I am writing because I want to keep the streak going. And because if I did t write something f now, the next 50 minutes until midnight would be spent arguing with myself that I should or shouldn’t write.

Sometimes taking the easy route means putting in a bit of effort.
