It really is the small things that add so much delight. Our little girl, who is a few weeks shy of turning one, has seemed to know her name for a while now, but she picked up something new.
Over the weekend we found out if we call her name she’ll raise here hands and kind of say the baby version of “hai”. And yes, we are thrilled with this new skill.
Pretty sure she is pleased with herself as well. While we we having her demonstrate and them then cheering. She started to go from raising her hands to clapping for herself. The hand raising got shorter and the clapping got longer.
What a little angel. She has grown so much!
