Once more I am off on another camp adventure. It’ll be a little like returning home after spending four weeks at the site over the summer.
Since this is a shorter camp with much smaller numbers it will also have a very different feel. I’m hoping it will pack the same fun punch but will also be a little be more relaxed. Since we will be on site barely 48 hours we don’t need to keep things as regimented.
The downside to going to camp is that it takes me away from my writing. I’m so close to finishing my sequel and yet there is still so much to do. I’m still on course to finish during September, but I also don’t want to over do things. If it takes a few extra days or even a week I’m not going to beat myself up over it. Especially if the writing turns out better from. It stressing.
I’ll also miss the little guy of course. My son has been a little cranky the past few days but last night in the middle of playing together he cuddled up next to me to sleep. That’s gold right there.
