Holding my Girl

She’s so tiny and fits in my arms. I how her close and she snuggles in. We rock and rock until she sleeps.

If I put her down and she cries, I get to pick her up yet again. The cycle repeats. Hours pass.

Tired and tired and tired and tired.

But I don’t want to put her down even when I do put her in bed.

Her eyes already search. Her legs already push.

Does she already know I love her?
